Validation Technician for Research and Development

Job Description
This individual will work leveraging their subject matter experience to validate equipment and systems. They will collaborate with key stakeholders to help define needs and achievable solutions and/or justifications for equipment requirements and related validation. Additionally, they will translate system requirement specifications into executable validation protocols, and execute the protocols as required and write reports that summarize equipment and system validations.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform equipment qualifications including commissioning, Installation Verification (IV) and Operational Testing (OT).
* Write and execute equipment validation protocols using defined templates and documents.
* Write reports summarizing results and statistics for equipment qualifications.
* Develop and communicate expectations for quality performance, continuous improvement, and quality systems.
* Assist developers and domain experts in designing, performing, and improving verification tests.
* Work with engineers, technicians and project management to deliver validated equipment and systems.
* Interact with cross-disciplinary project teams in order to meet project milestones and end goals.
* May lead cross-functional teams to address equipment and system level validation issues
