We are looking for qualified subcontractors (1099) and experts to partner with on an as needed basis related to matters within the regulatory, enforcement and litigation environment.

In this role, you will provide deep subject matter expertise in one of the following industries including, but not limited to financial services (banking and capital markets, asset management, private equity, broker/dealers), healthcare, construction & real estate, energy, retail, automotive, telecommunications and technology.

You will work independently and have an opportunity to direct work streams in high profile matters. You will collaborate with other senior client executives and StoneTurn professionals to deliver insights and effective solutions to our clients.

To be successful, a strong technical background and understanding of complex financial and accounting matters as well as the ability to help drive change and consensus among diverse stakeholder groups are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of multiple engagements ensuring to provide stakeholders with clear, accurate and well-presented work product
  • Direct and assist in the performance of high quality financial analyses, compliance and regulatory assessments, investigations and work product creation
  • Integrate with other StoneTurn practice areas to deliver coordinated services on litigation matters, investigations and monitoring services
  • Effectively manage risks associated with engagements, including stakeholders as appropriate
  • Possess technical knowledge and research emerging issues using past experience in interpretation and application

Required Qualifications

  • B.A. in Business or a related field; CPA is strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of strong industry experience working in either an advisory capacity
  • Experience within the financial services (banking and capital markets, asset management, private equity, broker/dealers), healthcare, construction & real estate, energy, retail, automotive and technology industries.
  • Flexibility with the potential travel requirements of client engagements (average 10 - 30%)
  • Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and perform technical projects, manage client expectations and relationships
  • Commitment to exemplary client service delivery
  • Additional certifications are preferred such as CFF, CFE, PMP, CAMS

This role is a contractor (1099), non-employee status position.
