Overview

Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience with a wide varity of equipment and utility systems.

Responsibilities

This position requires a self-starter who is able to work independently with a wide variety of equipment in an ISO 9000 environment.

In this role, the individual will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in a highly automated chemical manufacturing environment. The equipment the candidate will be working on will include:

    Reactors, Filters and Drying Ovens
  • Chillers, Air Compressors, Boilers, Pumps
  • HVAC units, Cooling Towers and Heat Exchangers.
Qualifications

Education:

  • High School diploma - minimum
  • Technical trade degree is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in repair and maintenance required.
  • Basic pipe fitting experience

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures and documentation
  • Ability to learn new processes
  • Excellent communication skills
