Performance & Talent Development, Sr. Program Manager- Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Program manage the annual performance management process for managers and employees across BCH to reach higher levels of consistency, cohesion, performance accountability, coaching, feedback, development, career growth, and organizational results
  2. Document standard processes and annual timelines; leverage technology solutions (Cornerstone and other) to solve inefficiencies and create opportunities to streamline and improve processes
  3. Build scalable solutions around the goal setting and performance review/coaching process; build the capability of HR and leaders to support robust performance feedback and uncover trends and drivers that enhance performance
  4. Partner with HRBPs, Talent Management and Employee Relations to provide resources, training and coaching on difficult situations, corrective action and documentation, and performance management best practices to support managerial coaching skills and improved performance accountability
  5. Conduct formal needs assessments (audience/role analysis, task analysis, gap analysis, and content analysis) and identify gaps in performance; identify learning objectives and other performance enhancement solutions; consider timelines and resource requirements needed to achieve scale
  6. Build a diverse portfolio of customized and on-demand professional development programs that address organizational needs, from onboarding to business and professional skills that are core and common; conduct formal train-the-trainer sessions along with other progressive delivery models
  7. Build a strategy to ensure programs support EDI objectives; lead inclusion learning and development programs, as needed
  8. Integrate and promote all talent development, engagement, workforce development, career development, wellness, and other initiatives throughout the performance management process; create communication channels to reach a diverse employee audience
  9. Design frameworks and competency models to enable career pathing, workforce planning, high-potential talent pools, and development planning to help employees grow at every stage of their career; oversee the development planning process for individual contributors
  10. Provide expert/advanced facilitation of programs, both virtually and in person; develop toolkits and reinforcement approaches to foster a continuous learning and development culture
  11. Build robust communications and change plans to roll out (or maintain) programs to drive adoption and engagement for the performance management process and talent development programs
  12. Design, monitor and evaluate program effectiveness metrics (both qualitative and quantitative) and provide quarterly and YOY reporting; create business cases that clearly demonstrate program impact and ROI
  13. Manage vendor contracts, establish relationships; monitor and assess effectiveness of vendor developed programs; create "buy" vs. "build" proposals that document cost-effectiveness per learner

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Master's preferred
  • 10 years of related experience, including experience managing staff
  • Expertise working with VP, SVP, EVP leadership levels
  • Adaptability; tolerance for ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Highly collaborative; use feedback to improve programs
  • Expertise in learning design and advanced group/team facilitation
  • Expertise in communication: write proposals, learning content, toolkits, briefing slides and assessment reports
  • Expert knowledge of leadership development, performance improvement, coaching skills
  • Expertise w/ Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation
  • Qualitative and quantitative data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Certifications preferred: Hogan, DISC, TKI; 360 feedback; ATD Master Performance Consultant; Coaching
