Job Summary

The Production Control Coordinator will utilize the ERP system to complete various system-based transactions and other responsibilities as directed.

Essential Functions

  • Process work orders based on MRP outputs.
  • Utilize ZOLL's business system to generate/complete work orders in accordance with an established/approved production schedule and in compliance with established procedures.
  • Close work order for Outside Sourcing Procedures (OSP) in the ERP system.
  • Perform scrap / work order control transactions in Oracle.
  • Assist with the oversight of manufacturing's compliance with the production schedule and may adjust schedule based on inputs from production and the deletion of forecasted product once built.
  • Provide scheduling information to customer service in support of backlog management and lead-time communication.
  • Interface with the ZOLL shipping departments to support the completion of shipment related paperwork.
  • Support the efficient operation of the manufacturing process by having all required labels prepared in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Utilize ROBAR system to print required labels checking accuracy, readability and compliance with all existing specification prior to issuance.
  • Review production schedule to determine projected label usage and utilizes Agile to ensure the correct revision of the labels are being used.
  • Maintain label production area in clean, orderly manner and operates all equipment in a safe manner.
  • Report any safety issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
  • Any other job responsibilities as assigned by management and subject to modification.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalency is preferred
  • 1-3+ years Experience/exposure to label production software is preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience/expertise in the use of an ERP inventory control systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use label production software is required.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Able to effectively problem solve.
