This position can be remote or hybrid-based near one of our offices and is based around East Coast working hours. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Data Manager development team. This will help us assist development teams moving out of the Data Manager codebase, then on customer alignment and syncing projects with Salesforce and other stakeholders, systems restructuring, and more more! This role impacts many parts of the company as all our transactional data flows through Data Manager!

Your impact:

• Work closely with the development team and stakeholders to improve the existing application, including designing and building out scalable solutions to support the growing needs of the organization.
• Work with project managers or product owners to understand and define system requirements.
• Develop high quality code that adheres to best practices in design, proper testing, and good documentation.
• Fulfill stakeholders' needs and ensure they are satisfied with the end result.
• Other related duties as assigned.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience developing in an object-oriented language
• 5+ years of experience working with relational databases (MySQL preferred)
• Strong experience with Java 8+
• BA/BS in a technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Excellent writing & verbal communication skills
• Experience mentoring team members
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (SCRUM a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Preferred experience with the following technologies: UNIX/Linux, JIRA, Confluence, AWS, Redshift, JPA, Git, React
