Job Description
What you will be doing:
  • Perform credit analysis for new loan requests and oversee existing portfolio.
  • Prepare annual reviews and loan modifications, and track financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Mentor junior analysts.
  • Analyze financial statements, management profiles, business/product cycles, and historical operating performance.
  • Complete credit underwriting for mid-size to large commercial loan requests.
  • Prepare and review in-depth written analyses for relationships of various size and complexity.
  • Perform analysis and research for the annual review of all borrower relationships.
  • Make comments/recommendations on loan terms and structures to minimize credit risks.
  • Work with junior analysts to enhance credit analysis skills.
  • Respond to inquiries, questions, problems and other credit issues.
  • Perform in-depth appraisal reviews to ensure compliance with appraisal regulations and the Bank's internal policy.
  • Represent the Bank in the community and at business and professional association functions.
Experience you will need:
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of appraisal and environmental regulations/requirements.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to deal with and show discretion in confidential matters.
  • 25% availability to travel outside of 25-mile radius.
