General Summary of Position:

The Vice President of Product will play a critical role in shaping the future of Granite's product offerings. This executive will be responsible for leading the product management team, defining product strategy, and overseeing the development and execution of new and existing products to drive growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, particularly products and services that Granite intends to grow, such as IP wireline and wireless access circuits and various wireless products and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's vision, market opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Lead and expand the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including mobile network operators and technology partners
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Define success metrics for wireless products and use data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and product enhancements.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and identify additional opportunities for product development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in product management within the telecommunications industry, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of wireless technologies (e.g., 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi), industry standards, and demonstrated success in launching and managing wireless products and services, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the wireless market.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful products, particularly in the wireless marketplace
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of the telecommunications market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
