POSITION OVERVIEW
As a member of the PUMA North America Integrated Planning Organization, you will develop and execute Procurement Planning activities for our North American business.
YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities)
Tasks + Responsibilities
Assist with execution of developed Supply Plans by creating, submitting, maintaining, and verifying purchase orders with factories/agents in ERP and Vendor collaboration systems.
Determine manufacturing schedule that works within production lead-time and capacity while allowing sufficient transit time for goods to ship to end customer On Time in Full (OTIF)
Support Supply and Inventory Planning strategies as well as tactical execution for all product categories and distribution (WS, Retail, Ecomm) to enable a competitive advantage to bottom-line and top-line company growth.
Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.
Support cross-functional teams to sustain new product introductions.
Partner with cross-functional departments to support minimum order quantities and lead time exceptions to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.
Assist with the improvement of Customer Service Levels via helping balance supply and demand.
Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to procurement planning process.
Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.
Contribute to process documentation and validation for all Procurement Planning Processes
Play a key role in end to end buying process for North American market including on time metrics.
