Job Description

We are searching for Construction Supervisor - IV for 1 yr. contract assignment.

This person would have construction knowledge as well as renewable energy knowledge, including fossil fuel plant knowledge, coal burning plants as well as combustion turbine generating plants in addition to solar and wind. The person will support quality control, safety, and general construction oversight to ensure our contractors and subcontractors are working within our policy on safety, following specifications for their project. This role will mainly follow the capital projects and will bounce around the Denver area potentially up to Pueblo maybe Steamboat Springs

Location: 100% onsite in which 90% of the time would be in the Denver metro.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • This work would be 100% in the field traveling to and working between the different plants to work on base capital projects.
  • Will be responsible for quite a few different projects including repair work in combustion turbines, coal plants.
  • Would be responsible for electrical projects, mostly low voltage below 1000 Volt and Hydro plants.
  • Would be working closely with the project managers reporting directly to them. oversee safety, provide quality control, and ensure the contractors are following specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have at least 8 to 10 years renewable/plant construction background. Gas, coal, hydro, wind and solar.
  • Must have basic skills in in Word and other Microsoft Suite knowledge is required as well to conduct PowerPoint presentations, budgeting on Excel spreadsheets, etc.
  • This is a construction supervisor role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, coordination skills.
  • A valid drivers license is also required for this role.
  • Construction knowledge as well as renewable energy knowledge, including fossil fuel plant knowledge, coal burning plants as well as combustion turbine generating plants in addition to solar and wind.
  • Knowledge of/experience with quality control, safety, and general construction oversight.
  • Experience with hydro dam and plant generating experience that would be a plus.
