CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Survey Party Chief to join our Survey Team based at our Norwell, MA office location.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's comprehensive approach to survey and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is the hallmark of a successful project. Our approach includes a variety of tools and skillsets from boots on the ground to advanced measurement technology including the use of drones. We are focused on putting all the elements together to create sustainable solutions that result in accurate and precise work.

At CHA, the Survey Party Chief plays a major role on our Survey Team and will be responsible for helping keep projects in scope, on schedule, and on budget. This role will interface between the field crew and office staff, and strong communication and leadership skills will be essential. The Survey Party Chief generally works in an outdoor environment and may need to interact with the public on occasion as well. The right individual will have experience working on transportation, utility, and other civil site projects, and will have working knowledge of surveying equipment.

REQUIREMENTS
    High school diploma required; A.A.S. and/or B.S. degree preferred
  • NSPS-CST Level II certification preferred; LSIT preferred
  • Valid US driver's license required
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD design software & MicroStation software is preferred
  • Demonstrates a good knowledge about the surveying industry
  • Must be able to carry equipment over rough, uneven terrain, and physically navigate varying field conditions
  • Ability to travel short-term is required
  • Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions required
  • Ability to represent him/herself and the company in a professional manner to the general public
