We are searching for an Energy Manager to design & lead Southcoasts energy procurement/production/infrastructure related sustainability efforts across health system. Analyze current & historical energy usage & develop a strategic system-wide energy management plan. Collaborate with FHS colleagues to ensure all buildings & systems are running optimally. Develop & communicate energy conservation & infrastructure related sustainability best practices within FHS & system-wide, supporting all colleagues in participating in energy conservation efforts. Work closely with Executive Director of FHS on energy strategies for Electricity/Natural Gas procurement, on-site power generation, solar, wind, geothermal, & energy related infrastructure projects including transitioning FHS vehicle fleet to EVs with accompanying EVC infrastructure for company vehicles, patients, & workforce. Collaborate with DCPM team on construction & renovation projects to support sustainability best practices including LEED certification & Park Smart. Collaborate with Supply Chain Logistics & Sustainability colleagues to source products for FHS that are produced sustainably; collaborate to help define & achieve Southcoasts sustainability goals in alignment with our HHS Pledge. Provide functional or technical supervision over other employees in same or closely related classifications, where scope of supervisory responsibility is limited to direction, guidance, explanation, etc.
