SIGN-ON BONUS $1,500 (1/2 after 30 days, 1/2 after 90 days)

We seek a dedicated individual to maintain the water treatment systems, waste water systems, and drinking water system, and all associated equipment. Perform routine daily sampling, testing, inspections and analysis. Works with outside service contractors for proper chemical treatment and control. Maintains water treatment chemical inventory and accurate computerized records as required by management. Performs required analysis for environmental testing and reporting. Ensures plant is well maintained to allow for maximum reliability and availability. Maintains hazardous material emergency response containment inventory.

To qualify you must have an Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years experience in water treatment operations preferably in the power plant industry), a Mass,"T1" Drinking Water License and a VSS (Very Smal System) potable license. Also, coupled with basic computer, blueprint, P&ID, schematic specifications and vendor requirement reading experience. Strong leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, and problem solving/decision making skills are a must. The ability to work in close quarters and confined spaces, climb ladders and structures, and tolerate heights is required. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also required. The applicant must possess a thorough understanding of steam plant operation and Waters Systems Operations duties and responsibilities. The candidate will be required to attend the 40 hour EPA course.

Must be available for overtime.

Other requirements include working with the entire plant staff on daily routines when needed.
